Homework: A Friend of the Pod Journal and Paper

More and more information is becoming available via podcasts. This homework is designed to help you become more familiar with this source of information. Choose any podcast that you currently do not listen to that talks about some aspect of multiculturalism. This can be in any context (i.e., Race at Work with Porter Braswell).

One of the homework's goals is to compile a list of podcasts that other students may listen to that you can add to your own listening list to extend your learning beyond this class.

Guidelines

1) You will be expected to listen to at least five episodes, and each episode should be at least 30 minutes

2) Establish a podcast journal to document the following

a) The name of the podcast series, episodes, and guests
b) What is something new you learned about the topic of this particular episode?
c) How will you think differently about multiculturalism as a result of this episode?

3) After listening to five episodes, write a reflection paper about what you will do differently as a person trying to be more culturally responsive due to this podcast
