After researching about teamwork in Civil Engineering I was able to come up with some skills that one would need in order to be successful in working as a team in this field. One thing that is required for one to be successful in this field is being able to understand the path you and your team are trying to create in order to carry out the task given to you. Communication is another team skill you must have in this field. One must be able to communicate truthfully and be able to be open to ideas from other team members to help accomplish the task at hand. Being unique is another skill that will benefit you being with teamwork in Civil Engineering and help generate new ideas that are outside of the box. This will help the team out as a whole with producing as many options to choose from as possible. Another teamwork skill to have is to be able to mutually agree with other team members on the options chosen in order to progress more through the task. For one to be able to agree with the team even though it may not be something you particularly agree on, you should still support your team with the decision made and proceed with completing the task.
Researching the job requirements that entry level Civil Engineers will have to have in order to obtain the job are all pretty similar from the source Indeed. One must have a Bachelor's degree and have the prior knowledge of CADD programming along with being able to comprehend the task at hand. Primarily must of the job postings I found were advertised as an individual position with having minimal team skills such as interpersonal skills to work together with other team members. One should be able to communicate with others efficiently in order to successfully carry out the job and be able to mutually agree upon the team decisions.
In a past job that I used to have with the company Snooze was to be a corporate kitchen trainer and help open up stores with the group of corporate trainers you were sent out with. One must be able to guide individuals into the right kitchen skills and mindset that someone must have in order to do their job as efficently as possible. You must be able to have the physical endurance to operate a fast-paced kitchen which meant that you had to be able to keep up with orders that are constantly coming in. Teamwork is primarily the most important part of working in a kitchen as one individual simply cannot carry out the task of the whole kitchen and duties that each cook has. Leadership was a big skill to have as you had to lead not only the new cooks in the company that are at that location, but also help the chefs and sou chefs be able to understand to functionality of the kitchen and what works best for completing the tasks. Every position regardless of the status of it all play an important role that would help make everyone's job easier and keep the kitchen efficient.
