Sam is a 60 kg diver. At the instant of take-off, his angular momentum about his medial-lateral axis is 20 kg x m^2/s. His radius of gyration about the axis is 1.0 m at this instant. During the dive, Sam tucks and reduces his radius of gyration about the medial-lateral axis at 0.5 m.
