To be a multicultural educator, one must recognize the significance of culture as a fundamental aspect of who we are. Additionally, it is our duty to validate the culture and language of each student. Although it would be impossible for a teacher of English Language Learners to be familiar with every conceivable student culture that could enroll in his/her class, it is historically probable that members of certain ethnic and religious groups will enroll in schools where you intend to work.
To demonstrate cultural literacy regarding the most prevalent linguistic and religious groups in specific institutions, each student will present information on a particular cultural group to the class. Your presentation must contain detailed information that answers the following questions listed below:
