The eye and the kidney are two organs that are a result of reciprocal induction. What is "reciprocal induction?" The two tissues that work together to form the eye are the optic cup and lens placode, and the two tissues that form the kidney are the ureteric bud and metanephric mesenchyme. Describe how these tissues use reciprocal induction to form their respective organs.
