The Bill of Rights and other amendments including the 14th amendment. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights is replete with references to personal freedom and autonomy. One of those freedoms has been the right to reproductive freedom. Last year, we saw the Roe v. Wade, a landmark Supreme Court decision on reproductive freedom, be overturned. In the United States, we now live in a "Post-Roe" world. The article below elaborates on the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Thinking about what we have learned, should reproduction (or the right to not reproduce) be an issue that falls under the "personal autonomy" that is protected by the 9th and 14th amendments to the Constitution?
