Power evangelism isevangelism that "comes with a demonstration of God's power throughsigns and wonders (What is "power evangelism?", n.d.)."

These demonstrations expected arehealing, prophecy, and ridding evil spirits through words of knowledge (What is "powerevangelism?", n.d.).

Pastor John Wimber stated that "Power evangelism is that gospelpresentation which is both rational and transcends the rational; it comes with thedemonstration of the power of God, with signs and wonders and introduces the numinous ofGod(Geoff, 2011)."

This is one of the most controversial methods of evangelism because of theextreme ways that it is used. Some techniques used like as spiritual mapping and strategic-levelspiritual warfare (SLSW) which some think goes outside of what the bible says because it targetscertain groups. Though people hearing testimonies of answered prayers, miracles, and healinghave led many to the Lord, it has also been criticized by the many people that have notexperienced any of these signs or miracles.
