  2. Realistic performance goal (this year): What is a realistic performance goal that you can achieve this year, based on your present skill level, your potential for improvement, and your current motivation?
  3. Monthly goal: Set a personal goal that you feel you can achieve within the next month. Name one goal you would like to focus on with special intensity.
  4. Next class or practice goal: Set a personal goal that you feel you can achieve by the end of your next class or practice. Name one goal you would like to focus on with special intensity.

  • Identify six of your most important general subjective goals, and enter them in the Subjective goals column.
  • Then reflect on the goals and prioritize them, placing an X in column A (being most important), column B (being somewhat important), and column C (being less important). All of your goals should not have the same priority (so use at least one B and one C).
