The Methodology should include: what is the population facing discrimination the most?
1. Basic demographic characteristics of your proposed participants (such as sex, age, ethnicity, or religion), the population from which your participants would be drawn, and any restrictions that may impact on your pool of participants
2. Explain how many participants will be assigned to each condition and how they will be assigned to each group. Were they randomly assigned or was some other selection method used?
3. Explain how your participants will take part in your research. Will your study be advertised at a college or hospital? Will participants receive some type of incentive to take part in your research?
4. Describe the materials, measures, equipment, or stimuli you plan to use in the experiment. This may include testing instruments, technical equipment, or other materials used during your research. If you plan to use some type of psychological assessment or special equipment during your experiment, it should be noted in this part of your method section.
5. Describe the type of design you propose to use in the experiment. Specify the variables as well as the levels of these variables. Clearly identify the independent variables, dependent variables, control variables, and any extraneous variables. Explain whether your experiment will use a within-groups or between-groups design.
6. Detail the procedures you plan to use in your study. Explain what you will have participants do, how you will collect the data, and the order in which steps will occur.
