The Hokule'a: A cultural icon

There are several interesting cultural icons of the region; the Haka, the Hokule'a, and the swagman are examples. This assignment focuses on the Hokule'a (The Polynesian voyaging canoe). After reading the article "Founding the Polynesian Voyaging Society; Building Hokule‘a" (https://archive.hokulea.com/ike/kalai_waa/finney_building_hokulea.html), please answer the following questions.
