Common drain amplifier config. uses NMOS device with a nominal load of 2kΩ. If gain of amplifier is 0.90 V/V, what is output resistance. If device has k'n W/L=8mA / V2, what is the bias drain current?
So need to find Ro and ID.
Ro = RL / (RL + 1/gm)
gm = k'n W/L ( Vgs-Vt) or 2Id / (Vgs-Vt)
Id = 1/2 k'n W/L ( Vgs - Vt)2
