What is one marginalized group and look at stereotypes in films focused on that group. The chosen demographic cannot be based on one of the 4 major ethnic groups (so not African Americans/Asian Americans/Native Americans/Latino and Chicano). This could be based on religion, sexuality/gender expression, national origin, disability, stereotype (think Mel Brooks movies that lampoon genres like Blazing Saddles looking at race and the "old West"), etc.

It is rather open-ended. Research and discover the earliest occurrence of the chosen stereotype in film/television/video games/etc and a brief history of the demographic's role in the chosen media.
