Assignment:

What is and what is not wildlife? Think about the biological diversity, and consider where your limits are for what you would call "wildlife." For example, we probably all agree that a white-tailed deer is "wildlife." But what about farmed deer? What about the monarch butterfly? Share your definition of wildlife, and list six species (and their circumstances, if appropriate) that fall close to the limits of that definition, for whatever reason, so that you have to think about whether or not to include them as "wildlife," and explain your reasoning. You should also examine and share experts' definitions (cite sources) but primarily share your thoughts and purpose.
