There is no shortage of data in healthcare. For example, we collect data on patient outcomes, number of procedures, number of adverse events, and price of supplies. A basic challenge that we face is that we have, in the past, relied on aggregated data. The question that comes to mind is that in today’s demanding healthcare environment is that the right way to approach it. Discuss what is meant by a static approach to data analysis. What is meant by a dynamic approach? What are the advantages and disadvantage of each one? Under what circumstances, in healthcare, do you see each one being used? Do you feel that one approach is better than the other?
