This passage contains an argument. What is the main claim of the argument? I want to talk to you today about voting. Voting is essential for a healthy democracy. True, sometimes there are no great options for candidates on the ballot. But minority groups fought for universal suffrage for generations so that we could reap the benefits! Plus people who vote grow taller than those who don't, so all eligible voters should vote in the next election.
