A tennis ball is hit with a speed of 27 m/s at an angle of 45o. It lands on the flat roof of a 13-m-tall building. The ball was hit when it was 1 m above the ground.

(a) Provide a clear diagram of the situation, making sure to illustrate the trajectory, the launch velocity, the landing velocity, and all other quantities you are asked to calculate along with those given. (a) How long does it take it to land on the building and what horizontal distance does it travel before it is landing on the building?

(b) What maximum height does it reach and how long after the launch is this height reached? In light of this answer, you might want to think again about your answer at point (a).

(c) What is its velocity at landing?
