XYZ Ltd. is considering three average risk projects above. The company estimates that it can issue debt at a rate of rd = 9.5% and its tax rate is 25%. It can issue preferred stock that pays a constant dividend of $2 per year at $26 per share. Its common stock currently sells for $22 per share with the next expected dividend is $1.20 and the dividend is expected to grow at a constant rate of 6% per year. The target capital structure consists of 50% common stock, 35% debt and 15% preferred stock.
