A "book blurb" for Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown" and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" POEM

Each blurb should contain an exciting first sentence to draw the reader in, a description of the main character (or speaker, if you're using a Poe poem), a description of the conflict, and some description of what's at stake in the story/poem.
For each blurb, include a "quote" from a real-life author who writes the same type of fiction/poetry. The author can be living or dead. (Make up the quotes!
A paragraph for each blurb explaining your choices. two paragraphs total, one for each author. In your paragraphs, consider these questions.
1. What would a reader unfamiliar with Hawthorne and Poe want to know?
2. What is important about each work that you are 'marketing' that you wanted to include in your blurb?
3. How did you adjust your blurb's tone to match that of Hawthorne and of Poe?
