Discussion Prompt
Too often we look at history without first asking ourselves, what is history? It may seem, on initial thought, a relatively easy answer. Maybe it is easy or maybe it is more involved than at first glance. I don't want to say too because I want to see what you think it is. Please address the following discussion prompt.
What Is History?
Provide an exhaustive list of the different things you think history is
Provide an explanation for the list you created. Why do you think the things you included in your list represents what history is. (paragraph in length, which is between 5 to 8 sentences. More is okay less is not.)
You can record an audio or video of your responses rather than writing them.
Discussion Guidelines
Don't simply say "I agree" or "I like". If you agree, build on what they have contributed by connecting other pieces of evidence that might complement their analysis. If you think their analysis is a bit off or inaccurate, help them see what you see. In other words, truly engage in a discussion.
Lets remember to always engage in constructive discussion. We are all in different places in learning process so lets support each other in that process.
You responding to a comment made regarding your own post will count as a discussion post.
