Type of Exercise: Prolonged treadmill running Subject: 25-year-old female endurance athlete Use information on graph to answer questions Condition 1: Lab temp 33 C (hot environment and not acclimated to the heat and no fluids given), running 175 m-min for 120 minutes Condition 2: Lab temp 33°C (hot environment acclimated to the heat and no fluids given), running 175 m-min for 150 minutes Data was collected at rest (0 min), 10 min, and every 30-minute periods. Physiological parameters measured: Cardiovascular Measures 1) Cardiac Output (Q) 2) Heart Rate (HR) 3) Stroke Volume (SV) Thermoregulatory Measures 1) Core Temperature (CT) 2) Skin Temperature (ST) 3) Sweat Rate (SuR) 4) Plasma Volume Data Collected: X axis = Time (min) Y axis = Refer to the title of each graph Legend: Blue line = Acclimated.
