When you look over this list, how does the formal outcome (i.e., your experience of the form of this piece) relate to the content (the story of someone who is ripped from his/her/their bed and dragged into the street)? It seems to me that the same list I accumulated from your responses to watching this piece could be well applied to the feelings that underlie such a narrative. In this way, does McLuhan's sense of medium and message converge? Some of you mentioned that the form failed because a different form would have been easier to understand. The question, then, is why YHCHI might choose anxiety over clarity.

How does the section structure that each writer uses contribute to the overall effects of each piece? In other words, can you imagine what each essay would be like if it were told in the typical plot-based / chronological structure? What is gained in using this type of structure?
