In this module, we discussed biases and the role emotions play in our decisions as leaders, the effects emotions, especially unregulated emotions, will have on outcomes, and emotional regulation to lead through conflict. The assignment for this module will be a a paper discussing the value and importance of emotional regulation during conflict.

Using the prompts below, discuss your findings and address the following:

1. Introduction: What will you discuss in your paper? Why is it important? Why should the reader care? What are some main points the reader should expect in your work?
2. Body: What is emotional regulation and some key components, and how do they benefit or hurt leading through conflict resolution (you can use emotional intelligence in this section)?
3. Conclusion: Remember, introductions and conclusions are extremely important to the success of your work, so take the time to summarize your work, reiterate and reinforce the main points you want the reader to take from the document, and cite as needed or required from the body of your work.
