What is the difference between EBP and research? When is one, versus the other, needed? What are the barriers to EBP? Your personal experience: Where do you use EBP in your workplace? Give at least 1 example. If it is not used in your workplace, what prevents EBP from being utilized?

You have discovered that the currently used patient care (and/or treatment) from the Case Study above is not supported by EBP and has only minimal to negative results. You want to include EBP in the care of this patient and improve treatment outcome. What initial steps do you need to take?
