Design question:
A transmission line needs to be connected between the power supply and transmitter of a cell phone tower. The power supply outputs 100 Watts and the minimum power necessary for the operation of the transmitter is 80 Watts. The operating frequency of the tower is in the range of 1GHz to 6GHz. The minimum distance between the tower and the power supply is 50m. The connectors have a Power-SWR of 1:2:1. Your budget for this material purchase is $1200 (Good designers do not use the full budget) . Design, the type of transmission wire you would be using. Justify your design parameters. If you need more money than what is budgeted to you for your design justify it with sound scientific arguments
Use the information from Dr. Tom Mannino's presentation.

the color code on a resistor specifies the resistance as4.7kOhms. A multimeter measured the resistance as 4.688kOhms. What is the nominal resistance of the resistor
How much power (in watts) is transferred to or from the inductor when the time is 1 ms? The current flowing through the inductor is given by 5e^-200t The inductance is 107 mH
Suppose we have a circuit in which a current source of 5 amperes is connected to 3 resistances in parallel. If you need to calculate voltage difference across current source EXPLAIN USING KCL why is that the digital multimeter should have infinite ..
The signal to noise ratio at the receiver is required to be at least 17 dB. The average noise power at the receiver is 1 mW. The cable loss between the transmitter and the receiver is 2.5 dB/km
Construct the RC differentiator. Set the channel 1 input coupling switch to dc. Next adjust the dc offset, amplitude, and frequency controls of the function generator to produce the input waveform.
A twelve pole, 480V, 60Hz synchronous motor has a reactance of 5 ohm. The field current is adjusted so that the equivalent field voltage Ef is 520V (line-to-line). Calculate the following: (a) Maximum torque. (b) Power factor at the maximum torque..
Four signals, each having W = 3 kHz, are to be frequency-division multiplexed with 1-kHz guard bands between channels. The subcarrier modulation (modulation to accomplish the FDM) is AM, with one signal left at baseband.
Two Loads are in parallel with a 2000 Volt sinusoidal source.Load 1 draws 40 Amps at 0.5 lagging power factor. Load 2 draws 15Amps at 0.8 leading power factor. (a) Make a table showing each load and its complex power
Design a full subtractor, that is a circuit which computes a-b-c, where c is a borrow from the next less significant bit. (Hint: Denote the difference as d, and a borrow from the next more significant bit as p, then develop a truth table for the p..
Consider the long-run Phillips curve and the short-run Phillips curve in this graph. What would cause a movement from point A to point B? What would cause a movement from point A to point C?
A point charge of 500π [nC] is located at the origin, an infinite uniform line charge with density of 18π[nC/m] lies along the z axis, and a uniform surface charge density of 2 [nC/m2] lies on all the z = 0 plane.
A separately excited dc motor turns at 1200rpm when the armature is connected to a 115V source. Calculate the armature voltage required so that the motor runs at 1500rpm.
