Bud's Automative purchases the vehicles (that it intends to sell) for his used car lot at an average cost of $3,250 per vehicle. They usually get these cars from a wholesaler. It costs Bud's Automative approximately $1,125 to get each of these vehicles ready for resale and this cost includes cleaning, preparations and any maintenance.

  • Bud's Automative sells each of its cars at an average price of $8,950.
  • Bud has a number of additional costs of doing business. Bud leases the car log for $1,000 a month and spends $1,200 for newspaper advertising per month. His sales people are paid a salary of $5,000 each for a total of $10,000 per month.
