Americans tend to suffer from body image issues (yes, so do other countries). This used to be a female issue but in recent years it has become a problem with males too. Recent studies show that up to 90% of college-aged males and females are unhappy with their bodies - even if they are totally healthy.
Where do you think this obsession with body image (especially thinness or Kardashian look--which can only be obtained through plastic surgery ) comes from?
Why are girls as young as 5 and 6 being treated for eating disorders and young teens/preteens getting plastic surgery?
