Amy Welch's regular hourly wage is $16 per hour. She receives overtime pay at the rate of time and a half. The FICA tax rate is 7.65%. Amy is paid every two weeks. For the first payroll period in January, Amy worked 86 hours of which 6 were overtime hours. Amy's federal income tax withholding is $360 and her state income tax withholding is $140. Amy has asked that $50 be withheld from her paycheck for savings bonds.
