Cristy, a 28 year-old Gravida 2 Para 2 patient was rushed to the ER of San Sebastian Maternity Hospital due to labor pain. She is on her 38 weeks of gestation. Vital Signs upon Assessment: Bp: 120/70, Temp: 36.5'C, PR: 86, RR:21. Her body weight is 60kg. No vaginal bleeding, no leaking of amniotic fluid. IE reveals: 2 cm of cervical dilatation. Uterine contraction lasts for 3 to 5 seconds and irregular interval. FHT: 140 bpm.

Two hours after admission, labor pain increases with a Pain scale of 6/10. Vital Signs: T: 37, Pulse: 90, RR: 21, BP: 120/80. FHT: 145 bpm. The duration of Uterine contraction is 10-15 seconds every 5 minutes. IE reveals 4 cm cervical dilatation. The client stated " I'm very excited to see my baby. I hope I could deliver her safely and get through.
