Question - You are employed as a risk manager for RTH Consulting. Upon your arrival, Dr Kidwell Mahlangu, the CEO has requested you to report on the possible reasons why there are continuous conflicts amongst the employees in the company. Your observation from the time of your arrival in the company was the serious gaps in their communication strategies and the management thereof. You also observed that the conflicts have arisen to the level where they are actually exposing the company to various financial risks. The report to Dr Mahlangu is to be presented in the next Exco to be held in three days. To complete this report, you are required to provide a clear communication management plan and expound on the various financial risks that the company has been exposed to due to continuous conflicts amongst employees. Discuss all key concepts relating to the communication management plan, risk etc. and assist them with an effective risk management process for the company.

Your reports must consist of a table of contents, definition of key concepts, communication management plan, and the risk management process. This must be structured in a manner where Exco may understand.  

Question - Use the diagram to determine and discuss the risks in line with your assessment of the organisation.

Look at each element of the communication management plan and identify the risks associated with those elements.

For risk assessment, prepare a risk register that shows the risks, the cause, the impact of these risks, what category they belong to.
