Assignment:

Defendant is homeless and has a long and sad lifetime addiction to Meth.

Defendant hallucinates and can be violent when he is not taking his prescribed medication. Defendant for the past few weeks hasn't been able to fill his prescription because of lack of money. Defendant while sitting on the platform waiting for the Metro train believes he hears the devil telling him to push the lady onto the track. Suddenly the Defendant jumps up and pushes Victim/lady on to the track where she's killed by the passing Metro train. Defendant, stayed at the scene and told the police I know it was wrong, but I had to free her and now she's free of sin.

Defendant is arrested for murder.

Assume that this jurisdiction follows the M'Naghten case.
