Question: Microaggressions are everyday slights or offensive behaviors to a certain group of people. People with certain personality disorders are usually grouped together in offensive and negative behaviors by others. Mental illness has a stigma already and even through times are changing and people are learning more they still hold these thoughts in their psyche. As Dr. Yanos stated people are so dismissive of the feelings of people with mental disorders. People seem to have a preconceived notion about people with mental illness and lack a deeper understanding of what they are dealing with.
