It is important to understand learning dispositions as an educator when planning for children's learning. Dispositions can be useful to support the analysis of learning and support educators to plan for children's learning.

This cluster focuses on nurturing the disposition of creativity in children.

Planning for and teaching creative experiences and arts support learning and development.

1. Explain what a learning disposition is.
2. Explain how you would model positive learning dispositions when engaging with and educating children and why this is important.
3. Outline how the disposition of creativity relates to each of the learning dispositions identified in the Framework.
4. Describe what teaching technique or strategies you would use to support children's creativity by exploring the arts. Explain how you would ensure children are exposed to a range of art forms and artists from different cultures.
