Online Reviews are often the first step of a customer's experience. Because of that, it is important to track online reviews, and take the good with the bad.
You have been hired as a Manager at a business, and one of your goals is to help enhance online reviews. Your job is to find a real business online, and look at their Google reviews, and help them improve the situation.
For this assignment, you can self-assign into groups of two. Please do the following:
Negative Review
Find a Negative Google Review for any business and paste the review in your document.
Do some analysis of the "root problem" found in the review.
Write appropriate response to the review based on best practices. Don't worry about details in terms of whether or not you have their email address. How would you explain what happened, and try to make it right?
Positive Review
For the same business as above, find a positive review.
Do some analysis about "what went right" for your review.
Send a short email to a department, giving them "kudos" for a good review. If the review is about very clean rooms, you may want to send a note to housekeeping. If the review names someone, you may send a note to that person, and their manager.
Imagine that you are pitching this business to investors, and you want to use the review as a testimonial. What is a key benefit underlying the review?
