Public money use is the bloodline for most politicians. Politicians push the federal government for public money for their districts for use in sponsored programs, including those for favored constituents who provide large donations. Yes, this creates jobs and revenue for constituents. Politicians also do favors for their constituents, particularly those who campaign and donate to politicians. This is how politics works, and how politicians get elected.

Do you agree with these practices? What do you recommend? Is it acceptable that politicians are evaluated by their constituents on their ability to request and receive significant public money and public projects? What if the request is not justified? Is it fair?
