Case Study: The genre chosen for the written piece is a professional email advocating for a change at work. This is demonstrated in the language and tone used, which is professional and persuasive. The email addresses the manager directly and uses persuasive language and evidence to support the request for the implementation of flexible working hours.The purpose of this written piece was to advocate for a change at the workplace and to convince the manager to implement flexible working hours. I hope to accomplish this by presenting the benefits of flexible working hours and demonstrating that this change would have a positive impact on employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity.
