1. Staff in the Tasmanian diary farm insist that they "cannot deliver safe, quality dairy products" nor "ensure nor endorse [the company's] animal welfare policies" (article 2). It is a matter of concern. What role the State and Federal governments may play in helping the owner, animal right activists and the animals in the farm in turning the farm into a sustainable, animal-friendly one?
2 Live animal export has long been criticised by animal welfare groups as brutal and unsustainable. However, the farmer lobby has been supporting it as it earns revenue for them worth billions of dollars. The role of the government is critical in this regard. Mandatory Referencing Requirements
