A description of the product/product line.
In the real world, the client's product would already exist, they would tell you about it, and then you would perform the task of branding it. and you are simply responsible for branding it. Since this is not the real world, you [the student] are also coming up with the idea for this fake product that you[the character of marketer] are responsible for branding). BE SPECIFIC!
Brand name
Be positive
Consistent with the image of the rest of the product lines/organization
Legally and ethically permissible
Brand mark/logo (use any design software/app you like such as paint, publisher etc. It can also be hand drawn)
Brief written proposal to the client which includes a paragraph on each of the following components of the branding process:
Awareness - How does your branding (name, logo, slogan, strategy etc.) bring awareness to the product/line?
Brand image - What image does your branding, name/logo, etc. reflect? (Good quality? Exclusive? Expensive? For everyone? etc..)
Equity - How does your branding, name/logo etc. add value to the product/line in the marketplace compared to the generic version?
Loyalty - How does your branding, name/logo, etc. inspire loyalty?
Your proposal should be written from the perspective of a marketer (in the role explained above) writing to their client. The point of your proposal is to explain to and convince your client of the appropriateness, effectiveness, and superiority of your branding ideas (keep in mind how this interacts with design, and quality) and how all of that fits within the branding process. Remember to use professional/formal language when speaking to the client. Make sure your proposal is clear and organized. Keep your consumer in mind and be marketing oriented.
Proposal - paragraphs (introductory paragraph where you introduce yourself and the product/line description, awareness, brand image, equity, loyalty, a few closing lines). Be sure to mention the brand name if it is not explicitly contained in the logo
