So, with the sales where impressive first year were good, but what I think was a down fall for him was singling out the petite verse misses' sportwear. Both departments should be combined. Petite sportwear lost money the second year around by returns and having to discount items more the selling price. Also, by sending some items back to the vendor since there was little to no interest in select items that were trying to being sold.

If the departments where to be combined again there would possible be a better turnover rate of selling petite sizes verses those sizes being singled out.

Imagine that you're in a weekly merchandising meeting defending your decisions, and use this chance to justify your decisions and offer feedback to your peers as to what would be best for the retailer and why.

Additionally, address whether you would've made the same decision had the retailer carried this product exclusively online. Explain your response to your peers.
