A table is inclined at α= 45 degrees above the horizontal. A block of mass m = 10kg is traveling towards the inclined table with a constant speed υ1 = 1.2m/s. The coefficient of kinetic friction μk = 0.4.

1. At what height above the ground will the block stop?

2. Suppose that when the block stops, it sticks to the table and doesn't slide back. What is the coefficient of static friction between the table and the block?
