As nurses entering the profession at this time it is important for you to consider your own practice and how you will maintain safety in your practice considering this.

For this paper, you will choose one of the course concepts and apply those to the Nursing shortage.

Paper should explore:

What has previously been done to resolve this issue, applying the chosen course concepts

Why did that work or not work?

What suggestions do you have to resolve this issue?

Can you compare those solutions to how this situation might have been dealt with in your own country?

Finally, from the CNO entry to practice competencies for Registered Nurses, choose TWO of the expected competencies for CLINICIAN. Discuss how will you ensure you are meeting those competencies and providing safe care? How will you recognize if the care situation you are in is not safe? Based on the CNO standards what would you do if you are in that situation?
