When a primary amine such as the one present in polyamide as end groups is heated to a temperature of 190 to 200C for 20 min. what happens to the amine group? Most classical organic chemistry literature is devoted to reactions in solvents or at much lower temperatures but reactions at higher temperatures are rarely studied.
