With the increasing rate of divorce and the increasing age of those getting married, many older adults are also purchasing condoms. Sometimes, this can become very embarrassing especially for the female. Females are not expected to be prepared with latex condoms, spermicides, etc. Society's view is that "That's the man's responsibility".

Sometimes, especially the first time, condom shopping can be a memorable experience.
