Reflect on the first half of the semester.
1. How was your motivation? preparation? work ethic? To be honest, my motivation was not at a high peek, I felt like I was fighting with the horrible experienced I had academically for last year. The feeling slowly getting away but I still have this shakiness deep down questioning myself, "will I be successful this year?" I was well prepared because I did planned to do things differently compared to last year semester. For instance, I was more organized, planning out test schedule and seeking out help from teachers and using the school success center for tutoring.
2. How do you feel about your midterm grades? I felt okay about my midterm's grades. For example, I was very pleased with math grade. In the other hand, I was not happy with biology because I needed to get a better/decent grade since it's my major. I'm getting a little more confident since my second test in biology turned out fine but with the first and second combined--- the overall was not good.
Now look forward to the second half of the semester.
1. What else do you need to do to reach your academic goal this semester? As of right now, I have everything I need now it's up to me to put my A-game on because I have a the resources I needed
2. What, if anything, do you need to change for the second half of the semester? Most importantly, I need to start studying in advance for tests and going to my professors at least once week for extra help instead of waiting the week before my test.
3. What habits are helping you succeed? What habits aren't helping you succeed? I found it very helpful to keep seeking help through my teachers and keep scheduling for tutoring. I need to improve my sleep schedule because I found it hard to get up in the morning, even though I would be on time for my morning class but it would be better if I can get up half an hour before class.
