For this discussion board we will each assume we are starting a new company and need to decide what form of business to choose initially, and then how that might change as the company grows. For example, would you start out as a corporation because of tax advantages and ease of raising money or limited liability? Or, is it easier and safe to start as a sole proprietorship and then change to another form later on. Read about the forms that businesses might take in Chapter 5. You should also do some Internet research to get other perspectives on the best way to begin your business.
