1. VRIO Framework- Does the company have any resources that are valuable, rare, inimitable, and organized in a way that make them unique strengths? (these can be basic and/or advanced factors of production)
2. Value Chain- What are the strengths and weaknesses of the company's value chain activities?
3. The Building Blocks of Competitive Advantage- Evaluate the company across the four building blocks of competitive advantage: superior efficiency, quality, innovation, and customer responsiveness.
4. Strategy- Based on your analysis in the first three questions, do you believe the firm to have competitive advantage over its rivals? (If so, is it sustained competitive advantage?)
If not, what firm-specific strengths should the company focus on/attain in order to either differentiate its products and/or achieve substantially lower its costs?
