Background and Assigned Reading: Since 2021, new variants (Delta and Omicron) of the COVID-19 virus have created a debate concerning the use of booster shots in the United States and other wealthy countries, given limited supplies of the vaccine in many less-privileged countries. Read this article and use it to answer the assigned questions:

b. In your opinion, do wealthy nations such as Israel and the United States have a social (civic) responsibility to promote the equal distribution of vaccines? Explain why, or why not. What are some consequences of either decision?
c. Suggest at least THREE ways to engage with national and global communities to address the issue of the use of booster vaccinations for COVID-19.
