The project I will be talking about was a marketing initiative to gain more customers for our checking and savings accounts at a local bank I worked at. There was several of us that made up the team, all coming from a different background and set of capabilities. For example, a couple members worked at physical bank locations, another came from our marketing department, and other various roles throughout the organization. The goal was to make a campaign that planted trees every time an account was opened. Not only did this show the bank truly cares about the environment but was also an initiative to gain more customers.

2. Analyze the development of the project team in terms of the nine situational factors that influence team development:What factors positively contributed to group performance?

• What factors negatively contributed to group performance?
• How did the group try to overcome the negative factors?
• What could you have done differently to overcome these negative factors?

       3. If the group was formed again, what specific recommendations would you make about how the group should manage meetings?
