MP is a 55-year-old woman who presents with complaint of inability to hold urine. She describes incidents where laughing or coughing results in a small to moderate release of urine. She has started wearing Peri Pads to avoid embarrassment.

1) Six vaginal deliveries, all to full term
2) Osteoarthritis
3) Postmenopausal

Medications

1) Boniva, 150 mg once a month
2) Calcium, 500 mg daily
3) Vitamin D3, one daily

Family History

1) Mother, alive and well; hypertension, type 2 diabetes
2) Father, deceased; cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction at age 77

Social History

1) No alcohol intake
2) Previous smoker
3) Walks 2 miles/day

Physical Examination

1) Vital signs normal
2) Palpation of uterus suggests enlargement
