Choose a critical human advancement from a time and place in our class historical timeline (1600 to present)). The essay must be at least 1000 words not including questions and bibliography. Use at least three or more different types of academics sources, these include primary documents, library database journals/articles, academic website, books, and art sources. Include inline citations and works cited.

1. Explain:

A. First what factors illustrate human advancement?

B. What human advancement did you choose and why?

C. What place and time (1600 to pressent) did you choose and why?

2. Evidence:

A. How does human advancement occur? Is it through technology, politics, learning institutions, culture shifts, religious shifts, art, agriculture, population, economics or some other means? Be sure to provide academic sources and inline citations to defend your answers.

3. Integration:

A. Take some aspect of what you have learned in your major and give analysis that makes a historical connection to the human advancement you picked. The purpose of this is to show you can look at and analyze your choice from a different perspective. If you are a general education major or history major, then you can pick one of these majors: art, agriculture, medical, religious, political, music, economics, technology, communications, mathematics, literature, science. A. Look at your choice from multiple perspectives such as strengths, weaknesses, unexpected consequences, or conflicts and give your personal analysis.

6. Conclusions:

A. How are humans better off or worse off because of this human advancement today?
