Explore the Molecule Polarity simulation for a few minutes. Change the Electronegativity of both atoms and see the polarity. In each of the three tabs, try to find all of the controls and figure out how they work

1. There are two type of covalent bonds: Polar Covalent bonds and Non-Polar covalent bonds. Describe in your own words that "How Polar Covalent bonds are different from Non-Polar covalent bonds?"

2. Describe two situation by whichyou can change the polarity of the two-atom molecule.[Please do not write technical part; for example move tab to the right or left!!!! Instead, write in terms of electronegativity increase or decrease in atom A or B etc.]

4. Describe any newways (other than two listed in question #2) you can change the polarity of the three-atommolecule. [In this section, you can move atoms at different angle, by dragging and/or rotating them]

5. Explain the relationship between the bond dipoles and the molecular dipole.[Please do not differentiate in technical terms like "bond dipoles are black and molecular dipoles are yellow....etc." It will be marked wrong!! Instead, use the terms to differentiate from your textbook from Chapter 15 (15.6 & 15.7)]
